Boat Brew MTG With Conflux (Red/White Reveillark Type 2 Deck)

If you’ve been following Magic The Gathering standard recently, you’ve probably heard of this decklist. Here is a list with Conflux cards that recently won a 60 person type two tournament in Japan. It was piloted by top MTG pro player, Tomoharu Saito.

The Conflux additions were a full set of Path to Exile in the main and 3 Banefire in the sideboard.
I guess Path to Exile is good after all. I know many people like it but I didn’t think it would be that good. Still, there were four other red/white creature decklists in the top eight. Three of those lists did not play Path to Exile in the main and the fourth list only played two in the main.
It will be interesting to see if Path to Exile will be a staple maindeck card for white decklists.
