That Red/White Turbo Fog deck is pretty fragile too. If you can get rid of the Luminarch Ascensions and Ajani, the deck has no win condition. Thought Hemorrhage, Sadistic Sacrament, Pithing Needle, Meddling Mage or Haunting Echoes would end the deck. I understand that you're running a lot of card draw to ensure that you get what you need, but your opponent is also getting stuff to help remove what you've got. Since you're not running blue, you have no counterspells so it'd be hard to deal with answers to your win condition. I think counterspells are very important in a turbo fog deck. That's just my two cents though.

Honestly i dont like the U/W version of turbo fog...i myself have went undefeated at the last 5 fnm's with this build:
R/W turbo fog

Lands: 24
4x arid mesa
3x tectonic edge
6x mountain
11x plains

Spells: 18
3x angelsong
4x safe passage
3x intimidation bolt (love this card...lightning bolt with an angelsong built on)
3x day of judgement
3x path to exile
2x martial coup

Enchantments: 7
3x lightmine field
4x luminarch ascension ( win condition)

Artifacts:8
3x spellbook ( too much land hate in standard to run reliquary tower)
2x howling mine
3x font of mythos

Planeswalkers: 3
3x Ajani vengeant

Realistically this is a very powerful deck...no there are no blue mill cards but technically you can still play archive traps because you normally arent going to pay its mana cost anyway...and I personally dont know a single player that doest use fetchlands...and if not theyre running basic lands so then you hit them with an ultimatum...search for a basic after you path their vengevine and get trapped or you just pathed their $40 dollar card with no draw backs for 1...thats pretty easy to me...plus how irritating is it to throw out ajani against a control player and they cant get to him or deal with him before all their lands go bye bye....overall amazing deck...im planning to go to the next ptq with it...give turbofog a spot in tier one?

I like how everyone is claiming that a deck that consists of 12 stall cards, 4 cards that give you extra turns and 12 draw cards is inconsistent. You obviously are playing the deck incorrectly and do not know how the mulligan feature in magic works. you have nearly a 100% chance of drawing either a Jace, Howling Mine, or Font. Actually, I think it is above 100. You must have the most terrible luck in the world if you can not draw what you need, which consists of, but is not limited to, a jace, howling mine, or a stall card. chances are you actually drew multiples of those types of cards that I just listed. The Jace is at four because he is a howling mine, a win condition, and a stall card because anyone with half of a brain will attack the Jace just to make his counters go down. The deck has lost its surprise element which makes it better than what it used to be. I can not tell you how many times I have had people not want to pop their fetch lands because they thought i might have archive trap because i had already drawn half my deck. This deck is good and the new Rise of the Eldrazi stuff only made it better in my opinion. I now run two Relic of Progenitus in my side and I actually run one of the big Eldrazi so that I get even more Time Warps per game, get my stall back, and I just go crazy with the fonts and mines because I can't mill myself. the only bad hands I get involve too much or too little land.

I run this but i sneeked in 4 borderpoast and a tezzeret mainboard, for an additional win condition with tezzeret's first ability to untap the boderpost and then timewarp for 20+attack next turn.

Often a win for me would consist of casting a traumitize then letting jace go off for (50% of there deck plus 20), and holding onto an archive trap to finish them off. Or just let your draw finish them off, if they cant draw the 10 cards you want them to they lose.

I run 3 time warps, very important for when you need a fog for the next round or you just need more cards to negate danger spells. And to blow off jace when they least expect it, cause they think they got another turn on jace.

Jace is a means to win but he is also a damage shield, Most games i love it when they attack Jace, just means more time for my mill to build up.

The turbo fog I run is very cosistent and rarely loses , with the right sideboard you can handle 90% of the decks played in standard.

You need lands that allow you to have more then 7 cards in your hand, I run 3 of them, Iqlinary tower or something. Most games ill sit with 15 cards knowing im going to win cause the opponant gave me to much time to build up my card base.

You have to know when to take dmg and when to fog it, You dont fog early early dmg that only does 3-5, you need to wait till you can fog bigger hits when its important, Thats why sunspring expadition is in there.

Lunco to correct you on one of your statments, *Safe passage* stops burn.

** counter to turbo fog **
- Telmine Performace
- Other mill
- Banefire
- Malicire blood witch

You can sideboard for every one of those counters to handle them, example adding essence scatter for Bloodwitch. The only card turbo fog cant deal with is Banefire.

I run a very diffrent turbo fog and it never loses , Every friday night I play i go first place.

People have 15 card sideboards to deal with it and it handles it just fine.

I dont have as much fonts , iv only got 3 Font 3 Mines just because at 4 and 4 your drawing it when you dont need to, Iv got 3 jaces and 4 Day of Judgement.

Day of judgment is a two turn buy, Wait for a while wait till they fill the board , Nuke it, that buys you two turns.

2 exiles for Archive Traps.

Win Conditions
x3 Archive Traps
x2 Trumatrize
x3 Jace

All you have to do is make sure your deck is bigger then theres by the end of the round and you will eventully win by decking them.

The turbo fog im seeing up top dosnt have a win condition and playing against a good player with the proper sideboard would lose. You can never relay on baneslayer for a kill, why? Because you have no other creatures in a turbo fog deck so how many fricken kill cards do they have sitting in there 7 card hand??

Bane slayer is a waste in turbo fog, go mill its more effective.

I have been playing a turbofog deck since rotation in the fall and I have to say that even though the suprise factor is gone, the deck still has a good showing against most decks in the format. I run bant colors for fogs, I do not run time warps either, I have tried them, and they are incredible, however they usually didnt help unless I already was winning, so I have the fogs in that spot. The rarely lose to anything but combo or aggrocontrol decks. Bushwacker is probably the worst aggro mach up at a 50 50 win rate for me.

i think Lunco is very wrong i have been using the deck and found that it is pretty consistent. Though the deck does have its weaknesses and it has lost its surpirse factor,if it is played well it can be incredibley powerful
