Sideboarding With Standard Faeries: Scion of Oona
June 4, 2009 | Posted by Dee
It can be difficult to sideboard when playing Faeries as it is a streamlined linear tribal decklist. Here’s a general rule from Sam Black, who recently got a top 8 finish in a Grand Prix with the Fae. He says he sides out Scion of Oona against almost everything expect the mirror match. This makes sense since most players will bring in sweepers like Volcanic Fallout, Zealous Persecution, and Cloudthreshers. Scion is just not very good against those cards.
